Sitting in a grove of Coral and Oak trees, the cottage can comfortabley sleep up to 6 people, or 4 with lots of room to spread out.

There's a barbeque area and a separate firepit just out the back door with views of the paddocks and it's just a 30 minute drive into the the top of the Watagan moutains.

Out the Back

Step outside the back door into to a clearing under coral trees and with a firepit area. The view in this picture is down to the veggie gardens and then the back paddocks.

The Top Clearing

The drive down to the cottage is past a small, green open clearing.

Around the Cottage

There are several small clearings around the cottage and several large, open paddocks below it. Walk further down and there is rainforest along the creek.

Rainforest and Creek

The lower paddocks of the property are a campground, that has 9 large camping spots with plenty of space around each.

Below the camping spots is the beginning of Dora Creek, which except when flooding is usually about knee deep on average and in the middle of stretch of rainforest.

Inside the Cottage

The Cottage has a main room that combines the 4-poster bed with the main living area, and a basic kitchenette around the corner. There's also a separate dining area and 2 further rooms with a king-single bed in each. The bathroom is newly renovated. There's also an upstairs which is yet to be renovated and not open at present.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?

It's $90 per night for the 1st 2 people, then $90 for each additional person plus either Hipcamp or Air B&B fees, depending on who you book through.

Does it have a kitchen?

There's a sink and breakfast bench, bar fridge, toaster, kettle and air frier inside. Outside there's an undercover barbeque area that includes the barbeque, a dining table and bench.

There's also a firepit just ouside the back door.

How many people can it sleep?

Up to 6 people can stay and sleep. There's the main bed, two king single beds, eash in their own room and a lound that will expand into a bed that could take another person or a couple of kids.

Do I need to bring my own blankets, pillows and sheets?

No. These are all provided.

Is there cutlery and cooking gear?

There's cultery.
